Steph, Valentina’s Mum wanted to share her thanks to Leighton’s Bereavement Midwife - Kelly.

“Kelly, thank you for all your love and support throughout one of the most difficult times of our lives. I honestly believe our Valentina put you in our path, to help us get through the heartbreak of losing her.

From the very beginning, you gave us the care, understanding & compassion we needed to survive those darkest days.

You made sure our little girl was seen, acknowledged & remembered. For that, we will always be grateful.

You guided and supported us in every aspect of our grieving process and made us feel that our daughter mattered.

Even now, you still check in, asking how we are and always remembering Valentina. You really are an angel sent from above, a true blessing in our lives.

Kelly, thank you for being there for us, for remembering Valentina and for helping us welcome Aurelius into the world. You’ve been such a big part of our story and you’ll always have a place in our hearts.
